Why Finding Your Talents Matters
Your talents aren’t random. They’re clues to your purpose—breadcrumbs that point toward work, relationships, and contributions that will feel meaningful and energizing.

When you name what you do naturally well, direction appears. Purpose stops being a vague idea and becomes a path you can actually walk—using what’s already inside you.
Talent isn’t only for you. When you use your gifts out loud, you give other people permission to do the same. Think of the people you admire: what you appreciate in them is a list of their talents. That’s how they became visible to you—and that’s how you’ll become visible to others.
You model what’s possible (“If she can do that, maybe I can too”).
You create real value—help, clarity, beauty, solutions—without burning out.
You attract the right collaborators because they can finally see you.
Name three people you admire. Write one line about the talents you see in each.
Mirror it back to you. Which of those same talents live in you (even a little)? Circle them.
Make one micro-move today (≤10 minutes) that uses a circled talent in service of someone else—send a clear explanation, share a design sketch, mediate a tiny conflict, record a 60-second tip.
Note the ripple. Who benefited? How did it feel? Repeat tomorrow.
Your talents point to your purpose and lift the people around you. Don’t wait to be “ready.” Use one gift in a very small way today—the world finds you faster when you shine where you stand.
